Deity Darshan - every Saturday at 5 p.m., Lord Narasimha Dev is bathed, dressed and worshipped. The murthi, at a height of 4½ feet, is bathed in milk, yogurt, ghee, honey and sugar, each representing one of the five elements of creation being offered back to the Lord of the universe. Once washed, he is dressed in new attire for the week and then worshipped by the assembled devotees with kirtan and songs. The abishekham is an opportunity for those gathered to intimately commune with the divine and to enjoy the stature and presence of Lord Narasimha. |

A play was performed at the London Temple on New Year's Eve, and was about a young man, Gyanesh, who wants to see Krishna, but can only ever see Radha. He knows Krishna is the absolute reality but he can only communicate with Krishna when he meditates. When he opens his eyes, however, he can't even see Krishna's murthi! Through the teaching of a wise sage, Bhakti Das, he learns that Radha is the supreme devotee, and in realising this, Gyanesh is filled with desire for Radha's presence and yearns to experience the intensity of her devotion. By developing an ounce of the love that Radha had for Krishna, he is granted the ultimate vision of Sri Krishna. Says Radha, "If it gives my Lord but one moment of pleasure, I would be happy to spend an eternity in hell!"

Krishna Janmastami - Krishna Janmastami is the day on which Lord Narayana incarnated on earth as Krishna. Born to Queen Devaki, at the stroke of midnight in a prison, the baby Krishna was transported to Mother Yashoda with whom he spent his chilhood. Adored and loved for his mischieviousness and pranks, Krishna Janmastami, celebrated at the London centre on the 4th of September 2007, is a birthday party for Lord Krishna who appeared 5,000 years ago. The festivities included abishakham to Lord Krishna and our Krishna Shila, kirtan and the cutting of Sri Krishna's birthday cake.

Narasimha Chaturthi - Narasimha Chaturthi is the day on which Lord Narasimha Dev, the half man, half lion incarnation, appeared on earth to save his devotee Prahalad. It is a day on which we are reminded of how the Lord can be moved to a heart fully surrendered to him. The young Prahalad always had the name of Narayana on his lips and his form in his mind's eye. His heart was overflowing with faith and unconditional love for the Lord. It is such devotion that as devotees we try to emulate. The Advent of Lord Narasimha was celebrated at the London centre on the 1st of May 2007, with abishekham and puja to Bhakti-Luxhmi-Narasimha and a small play describing the story of Lord Narasimha.

The Inauguration of the London Mandir - Once a family home, a small 3 bedroomed semi-detached house became the host of a two day festival to celebrate the coming of Bhakti-Luxmi-Narasimha. Late in 2006, Swamiji expressed a wish for there to be a centre in London. From then on, busy preparations were made to turn a family home into an ashram where devotees could come and worship. The climax of all the preparations came on the 22nd and 23rd April 2007, where Bhakti-Luxmi-Narasimha came and took his seat in his new home in Feltham, and the new London centre was opened.
